5. Release Your Current Financial Aid to Drexel (If Applicable)

If you were awarded or received financial aid at another college or university during the current academic year (even if you never enrolled in classes there), that school must release your financial aid before it can be available for use at Drexel.

Drexel cannot process any of your financial aid (federal, state, or institutional aid) until it has been released by the other school.

What To Do

Notify the Student Resource Center/Financial Aid Office — in writing — that you have been awarded or received financial aid during the current academic year at another school. Your letter must indicate the types of financial aid you were awarded and the amounts of those awards.

Then contact the other school for instructions on how to cancel your aid. Each school's process is different, so make sure you understand the requirements.
