Job Title: Work Study Lab Assistant II
Description: The student will participate in a research project that studies Hepatitis B virus replication and its role in the development of liver cancer. A work-study student would work as a laboratory assistant to perform functions essential to the day-to-day laboratory operation to assist graduate students. Responsibilities will include: preparation of solutions, preparation of bacterial cultures, preparation of and sterilization of glassware, reagents and supplies as well as direct involvement in ongoing research projects.
