Yu Lin

My name is Yu Lin. I am a third year student at Drexel University, on a DSP track for electrical engineering. My passion is innovation, and so one of my goals in life is to create something that has never been created before. I love to travel even if it’s just from the city of New York to Philly. I was born in Fuzhou, China and lived in Brooklyn and Westchester, New York until I came to Drexel U. I am a proud member of FISDU on campus, which has been a major influence on me. Studying abroad is a challenging commitment to make, but I believe now is the time to take on new opportunities and learn from new experiences. I am excited for this chance to go to Japan and am grateful for Gilman for awarding me a scholarship.
