Michelle is a second year student in the Master's of Science in Public Policy at Drexel, where is she researching the relationship between US interventionist foreign policy and US popular media. She graduated from the University of Texas-Austin in 2007 with a BA in Middle Eastern Studies and Turkish Language and Literature. She will be studying intensive intermediate/advanced Turkish this summer in Turkey and hopes to eventually work for the US government. Her primary research interests are in environmental policy and international foreign policy. In 2010, Michelle helped establish the Drexel Association for Public Policy, a graduate student group for Drexel students interested in Public Policy. When she's not studying, you can find Michelle riding bikes around the Art Museum area with her husband.
