MS Nursing Education and Faculty Role '14

While Bradley works primarily as a critical care nurse in a Boston emergency department and for LifeFlight of Maine, a critical care transport flight service, he has always been drawn to education. This has evolved from his days of working for Outward Bound to a more academic, university-based setting. Since experiential education has always been valuable to him, he has been drawn to the evolving simulation technology that is rapidly becoming the norm in medical education. In Finland he will be partnering with Laurea University of Applied Sciences to implement a mobile simulation center that can foster rural education in nursing and EMS education. Finland holds a special place in his heart as he proposed to his wife in Helsinki in the summer of 2013!

His Fulbright research grant to Finland recently took him to Kazakhstan. There, he met with local nursing educators from six medical colleges who are piloting a new bachelor's-level nurse training program and making strides in healthcare in Kazakhstan.
