At the moment, I am a pre-junior on co-op at Siemen's Healthcare for the 2009-2010 summer term. Applying for the Gilman International Scholarship has probably been one of the most rewarding choices I have made so far in my academic career. Along with the monetary gain, I experienced a high emotional gain. To receive the Gilman Scholarship, one feels great accomplishment. I will be attending CYCU in Taiwan for the fall term, and all traveling and dormitory costs and any other extra fees will be covered by the scholarship. So this summer, I intend on enjoying myself a little more knowing that I do not have to worry about my expenses for CYCU.
