News and Events

Congratulations to Uk Jung (Architecture 2008) and Rachel Semigran (English/Theater 2010), who have received Drexel’s endorsement for the Marshall Scholarship.

Uk is proposing to study Sustainable Environmental Design (MSc) at the Architecture Association. Rachel is proposing to study Performance Research at the University of Bristol (MA) and Theatre: Writing, Directing and Performance (MA) at the University of York. We think they’re both terrific and wish them each the very best of luck in the national competition.

Marshall is a highly competitive and prestigious scholarship, funded by the British government, that allows top American students to pursue graduate study in any field anywhere in the UK. Universities may only submit two candidates each year, with endorsement given through a competitive campus process. Students interested in the Marshall for 2011-12 academic year are encouraged to contact the Fellowships Office by early spring 2010.

Deadlines are coming up quickly for 2010-11 academic year fellowships.

  • November 2nd-12th is the national deadline for the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.

Contact us for more information on these or other opportunities.
