Drexel's programs are designed to incorporate best practices for faculty recruitment, retention, and faculty advancement, with special attention to faculty equity and diversity. The Office of Faculty Development and Equity, and the faculty and staff that support it, play a leading role in fostering a more supportive environment for faculty, in broadening our approaches to recruiting excellent new faculty, and in revising our academic policies to provide for flexibility and equity in career development. We strive to create an academic climate that fosters excellence in teaching, research, and professional activity, and that supports diverse faculty members at every stage of their careers.
