Center City Campus Event Services
Once you have followed the step-by-step instructions to Make A Reservation, contact Event Services to coordinate event support. These services are available during regular business hours (i.e. Mon-Fri 8am-5pm); however, after-hour support can be scheduled if requested 10 business days in advance of the event. Event Services can assist in providing guidance to event coordinator so that he/she may arrange services directly with providers for the following services: catering, audio visual, parking, transportation, and schedule onsite event management.
By request, Event Services can schedule the following services:
- Housekeeping
Housekeeping services for cleaning of event space before, during and after event can be coordinated through Event Services at least 10 business days in advance of event. To provide all users with a clean environment, please notify Event Services about any food service on campus and kindly dispose of any trash following event.
- Setup and Room Arrangement
Special setups deviating from the standard should be scheduled through Event Services at least 10 business days in advance of event. Ideally, when making initial reservation request, event coordinators should request alternate setup and necessary cushion time. As requested, Event Services can also provide additional furniture such as 6ft tables, chairs, staging, podium, etc. Please be advised that all alternate setups require approval from Event Services, due to event spaces doubling as classrooms.
- Event Equipment/Furniture Rental From Outside Vendors
If the event coordinator requires any equipment/furniture not owned by the University, additional rentals may be ordered through Event Services using pre-approved vendors. Rental costs will be charged to the event coordinator through Event Services.
- Public Safety Event Notification and Support
As all University campuses strive to operate secure buildings, event coordinators are required to notify Event Services about any deliveries and non-Drexel/Tenet guests entering the building. This process will help ensure that Public Safety is notified to allow for a smooth event experience. Please see the below policy for each building:
- Non-Drexel Guests at News College Building and Bellet Building:
The New College Building and Bellet Building are Tenet-owned and operated facilities leased by the University. Tenet Security requires a listing of the names of non-Drexel attendees emailed to the Tenet Security Manager at least 7 business days in advance of the event. This procedure will ensure guests easy access during their visit. If a list is unable to be provided prior to the event, guests will need to sign-in at the security desk upon entering.
- Non-Drexel Guests at Stiles Alumni Hall, Three Parkway Building and Queen Lane Medical Campus. Notify the Center City Hahnemann Event Services of any deliveries and non-Drexel/Tenet guests entering the building 10 business days in advance of event.
- Parking
Drexel does not own or operate parking facilities or lots around the Center City Hahnemann Campus. The following public parking facilities are conveniently located near the campus:
Rates for Event Services
