Health Sciences Campus Operations is responsible for the facilities operation and oversight of the University’s health science campuses - the Center City Hahnemann Campus and Queen Lane Medical Campus; and leased facilities for clinical practices. The department manages construction, space planning and design, energy, maintenance, recycling, and event services on the Health Sciences campuses and serves as the liaison for Tenet Healthcare owned and managed facilities leased by the University for clinical education.

The Center City Hahnemann Campus located on N. 15th Street in center city Philadelphia includes the College of Nursing and Health Professions, School of Public Health, the Drexel University College of Medicine and Tenet owned and operated Hahnemann University Hospital. The Queen Lane Medical Campus located on Queen Lane in East Falls, the Northwest part of Philadelphia, primarily serves first- and second-year Drexel medical students.

Services of the Health Sciences Campus Operations

  • Operations & Maintenance
    Maintain the facilities and grounds of the Health Sciences Campuses through housekeeping services and repairs.
  • Space Planning & Design
    Plan, design and estimate projects, such as renovations, relocations and/or new construction.
  • Project & Construction Management
    Coordinate project management services and implement plans for contracted vendor services.
  • Event Services
    Arrange event services with providers for needs such as setups, custodial support, and public safety notification. Direct university event coordinators to the appropriate contacts for scheduling event space, audio visual, catering, parking and transportation.
