Departments

University Facilities is comprised of a number of specialized departments and offices which collectively provide all of the services for which the department is responsible; primarily:

• Overseeing the implementation of the University's capital construction master plan to support the academic strategic plan
• Maintaining grounds and athletic/recreational sports facilities
• Managing the recycling program and sustainable waste reduction initiatives
• Providing interior design and space planning services
• Ensuring environmental health and safety standards are being meet with construction projects, properties, and laboratories
• Applying preventative maintenance and addressing deferred maintenance
