Q: What is your favorite book?
A: Books: Banned books; Authors: Rita Mae Brown, J.K. Rowling, Harper Lee

Q: Who is your idol or who inspires you?
A: My grandmother, mother and daughter--they all faced incredible difficulties in their lives and met them with great courage.

Q: What’s one thing every student who plans on taking one of your classes should know about you?
A: It is OK to make mistakes as we often learn the most when we do.

Q: What do you hope to add to the CoAS community?
A: Knowledge of over two decades of teaching English as a Second Language students.
