Kathleen McNamee's current teaching commitments/interests are focused in various topic areas in American Literature from survey courses to the American Short Story, Civil War Literature and American Nature Writing. Along with a long term involvement with the First-Year Writing program, she also has taught surveys in Romanticism to Modernism and developed a course in Dystopian Fiction and Film.
She has published articles in Cambridge Graduate Forum and had presentations published as part of conferences in American Literature and most recently, interfaith spirituality and dialogue. She has done book reviews for a number of local publications.
