Personal Statement:

Dr. Stephen Mastro is a Section Leader for two of Engineering Managements core courses: EGMT 501: Engineering Management I and EGMT 502: Engineering Management II. He is the course developer and subject matter expert for EGMT 465: Introduction to Systems Engineering.

In addition to his faculty role, he is an engineer in the Machinery Research and Silencing Division of NAVSEA Philadelphia (U.S. Navy). His work focuses on advanced sensor and control technologies for condition-based maintenance, damage control, and automation.

Dr. Mastro is the author of 23 papers and four U.S. patents, with others pending. He is an active member of the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE) and the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME), and holds adjunct teaching appointments at Villanova University in addition to Drexel.
