Internal Transfer Policy
Students who are required to take MATH 110 and CHEM 111 must receive a B or better in each of those classes and have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater to be considered for admission into the College of Engineering.
Students who are taking CHEM 101 and MATH 121 must receive a C or better in each of those classes and have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater to be considered for admission into the College of Engineering.
Students MUST complete the first applicable course in the Chemistry and Calculus sequences or substitutes determined by the admitting advisor before admission into the College will be considered.
FIRST TERM FRESHMEN who are pursuing transfer admission into the College of Engineering must have completed high school Chemistry, Physics, and Pre-calculus. In addition, they must have SAT scores of M 600 and V 500 (or ACT M 26 and V 22) and a HS GPA of 3.5 or better.
Any student who has been found guilty of Academic Dishonesty as defined by the University policy is not eligible to transfer into the College of Engineering.
In all cases, professional judgment of the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Affairs will be applied. Additional conditions may be required in specific situations.
