The ELATE at Drexel Leaders Forum is a unique opportunity for Fellows and their institutional leaders to discuss the wide range of organizational change initiatives addressed during the Fellowship year. The core of the Leaders Forum is a poster symposium showcasing the outcomes of the Fellows’ Institutional Action Projects—the capstone of the ELATE Fellowship year.

- provides a space for content-rich interaction between fellows and guests.
- supports collaboration on organizational change efforts across institutions.
- demonstrates the overarching impact of ELATE Institutional Action Projects on organization improvement.
8:00-9:15 AM Executive Mentors Breakfast (Deans, Provosts and Guest Leaders only)
This is a closed session for Deans, Provosts, or their desginees with Diane Magrane, Director of ELATE, to be updated on the program and its research activities and to share approaches to advancing women faculty to leadership in their institutions.
9:30-11:30 AM ELATE IAP Poster Symposium
Fellows and guests meet in a moderated session to expand lessons of leadership from the process and outcomes of the Fellows' Institutional Action Projects. Each Fellow will present her project and invite the audience to contribute to problem solving around the challenges of implementation.
11:30 AM-12:30 PM IAP Poster Reception
Posters are attended by Fellows.
12:30-2:30 PM Lunch and Leader to Leader Dialogues with your Fellow(s)
This time is for institutional leaders and Fellows to meet to discuss next steps in her leadership pathway. This is an extremely important part of the Forum, as it provides a time to discuss institutional leadership initiatives outside the distractions of the usual office day.
2:30-4:00 PM Graduation Ceremony
4:00-5:30 PM Reception
We invite you to stay on after the Forum to attend your Fellow's graduation and reception. This year we are pleased to have Dr. Alice Gast, President of Lehigh University, deliver the graduation speech to the ELATE class. Deans' and provosts' participation in this event, which caps a highly intensive year, is especially meaningful for the Fellows.
Registration & Accommodation
All sleeping rooms are on site at the ACE Conference Center. Please use the ACE’s room registration website and the password that was emailed to you to select the nights that you plan to stay. Please note that registration must be completed by noon on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, in order for us to guarantee a room for you. Unfortunately, no refunds can be made for a cancellation after noon on February 18, 2013.
All guests should arrange their own transportation. We have created a list of ground transportation with estimated costs from Philadelphia International Airport or Amtrak 30th Street Station for those who would like to pre-arrange their travel to the conference center. Regional rail service is also available and stops near the conference center. Driving directions to the ACE can be found on their website.
The ACE Conference Center amenities include a fitness center and walking trails.
