Egg Drop Competition
Wednesday, February 20, 2013
10:00 AM-12:00 AM
Register for the Drexel Engineers Week Egg Drop competition! The Egg Drop competition, not to be confused with the Egg Glide of previous years, challenges Drexel student, faculty, and professional staff teams to create a contraption that will protect a large Grade A egg as it makes a vertical drop and crashes into a drop zone below. Bonus points for entries made entirely of recyclable materials and the winning team will take home Flyers tickets!
All Drexel students, faculty, alumni and professional staff are welcome to enter and attend the event led by Drexel Engineering’s student organizations in the Bossone Research Enterprise Center lobby. Registration is required to compete and the deadline is Monday, February 18th at 5pm. Teams can drop off their inventions between 8AM – 9:45AM for weigh in on the morning of the event. Competition begins at 10AM. To register for the Egg Drop Competition, click here. Full competition and design rules can be found here.
