Drexel Engineering Introduces Undergraduate Advising Center
February 1, 2010 The College of Engineering is pleased to announce the renaming of Student Services. The current Student Services office will be renamed the Undergraduate Advising Center. The name change will assist students in identifying where they can best be served during their freshmen and sophomore year experience at Drexel.
The Undergraduate Advising Center provides academic support and assistance primarily to undergraduate freshmen and sophomore students in the College of Engineering. The staff can help in areas such as academic advising, scheduling of classes, transferring credits to Drexel, explanation of university policy and procedures, and adjusting to life at the university. The Undergraduate Advising Center also represents the College of Engineering on university advising and retention committees, and handles academic and financial appeals for the College.
The office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please stop by the office to schedule an appointment with your academic advisor, or contact them by phone at 215.895.2211 or by email.
Appointments are not required to see the walk-in advisor; however, it is recommended that these visits be reserved for issues that can typically be resolved within 15 minutes. If the situation warrants, students may be asked to make an appointment with their academic advisor for further assistance.
