Drexel Engineering Participates in Sponsorship for Dad Vail Regatta

dad vail regatta athletics drexel engineering May 5, 2009 Drexel’s students, faculty and staff swelled tent #4 on Boathouse Row for the nation’s largest rowing collegiate competition May 9, 2009. Drexel Engineering, Athletics and Student Life and Administrative Services sponsored and hosted a barbeque to cheer on Drexel’s crew.

“We look forward to sponsoring this event each year. It’s a time for the Drexel community to unite and show Drexel pride. The Drexel dragons emphasize the many strengths of the university and we’re excited to support them. Go Dragons!” says Dr. Selçuk Güçeri, Dean of Drexel Engineering.

Over 700 people were in attendance at Drexel’s tent for the Dad Vail Regatta. Drexel Engineering will be participating in the joint sponsorship next year.
