Composed of members from government, academia, and the private sector, The National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research Resource (NAIRR) Task Force routinely consults a range of experts and stakeholders from government agencies, private industry, academia, and civil and disabilities rights organizations.   Their ongoing interagency efforts of the task force is to develop a vision and implementation plan for a national cyberinfrastructure that would connect American researchers from all backgrounds and regions to the computational, data, and testing resources that fuel AI research and innovation.

This month, Dr. Gail Rosen, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, served as one of seven external speakers on an NAIRR user perspectives panel. She provided a perspective on how the national AI resource can benefit computational biology and student training efforts in interdisciplinary fields.
