STEM Fellowships: Deadlines Approaching

Fellowships are available for graduate students in the sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields. Scholarship amounts, eligibility, and availability vary. September 2009 Update

LeBow College Named Among Forbes's 2009 "Best Business Schools"

Drexel University's LeBow College of Business was one of only two business schools in the Greater Philadelphia region to be named among the top 65 schools in Forbes's Best Business Schools 2009 ranking. Forbes based this list of business schools "where your investment in an MBA pays off the most" on the return on investment (ROI) graduates have achieved five years after earning their MBA. Forbes evaluated the investment achieved by alumni who received their MBA in 2004, comparing their earnings during the first five years after earning an MBA to their opportunity cost. Drexel Partners with GI Bill to Offer Tuition to Veterans

Drexel University has committed $2 million to offer free education to post–9/11 veterans across all of the University's full- and part-time undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and professional programs, both on campus and online, as part of its participation in the new GI Bill's Yellow Ribbon Program.

May 2009 Update

Center for Public Policy to Offer MS in Public Policy

Drexel's newly established Center for Public Policy (CPP) will offer a Master of Science in Public Policy beginning in the fall quarter of 2009.

The Master of Science in Public Policy is designed to prepare the next generation of government and nonprofit policy professionals. The curriculum draws from programs in the arts and sciences, business, engineering, and information sciences and technology, and offers concentrations in Environmental Policy, Science and Technology Policy, and Urban Systems Management.

The CPP, located within the College of Arts and Sciences, serves as the focal point for policy-oriented research within the University and between the University and organizations throughout the region.
