Our Facilities

In 2005 we opened the 155,000-square-foot Bossone Research Enterprise Center. The building, designed by Pei Cobb Freed & Partners and named in honor of Drexel alumnus Edmund Bossone, serves as the cutting-edge research center for the School of Biomedical Engineering, Science, and Health Systems. The Bossone Research Enterprise Center houses 48 teaching laboratories, 37 lab support spaces, 8 conference rooms, 77 offices, and a 300-seat auditorium. The building is also home to the Centralized Research Facility, which houses two Raman spectroscopes, a high-resolution transmission electron microscope, three scanning electron microscopes, an X-ray diffractometer, and other state-of-the-art equipment.

Our Funding

Research contract and grant awards and expenditures for the University exceed $100 million.
