Operations

Enrollment Management Operations manages the flow of critical prospective student information sent to and from the University from the point of student inquiry through enrollment. Operations places a high priority on the use of technology to enhance productivity and efficiency throughout Enrollment Management and as a showcase for the University's strength in this area. The division advises affiliated units — including LeBow College of Business, the Earle Mack School of Law, the College of Medicine, and Drexel University Online — on admission application management and the utilization of enrollment management modules within Sungard Higher Education's Banner product.

Department Responsibilities

  • Ensure processing of all inquiries to the University within 48 hours
  • Mail appropriate recruitment material within 72 hours of initial inquiry
  • Prepare applications for internal/external review within one to two weeks of application start
  • Increase complete applications for freshman, transfer, and graduate areas
  • Develop technological solutions to enhance workflow throughout the division
  • Coordinate Enrollment Management's use of technology and space

Assistant Vice President for Operations

Raised in North Jersey, David Chezem earned a bachelor's degree from Rowan University, a master's degree from NOVA Southeastern University, and an MBA from Drexel University.

In his role, David employs his education and previous experience to ensure organizational programs and infrastructures enhance the following: customer experience, marketing strategies, and process efficiencies.
