Admission Application Checklist

College of Nursing and Health Professions

  1. Graduate Admissions Application: We prefer that you submit your application online. Alternatively, you may submit the paper application.

  2. Application Fee, $50 (Waived for students who apply online or submit the application during a campus visit; not applicable for programs that use a centralized application service.)

  3. Essay: You are required to submit an essay explaining why you are interested in pursuing graduate study. Refer to the Program Requirements and Deadlines for your program's specific essay topics and requirements, if applicable, before writing the essay.

  4. Letters of Recommendation: Refer to the Program Requirements and Deadlines for the number of recommendations that you are required to submit and for guidelines (recommenders may be required to use a specific form). Recommendation letters must include the address, phone number, and signature of the recommender. The recommendation envelope must be submitted unopened.

  5. Standardized Test Scores: (GRE, GMAT, MAT, etc.) Official copies of test results must be sent to Drexel. Refer to the Program Requirements and Deadlines to determine which tests you are required to take. Drexel's test codes are: for GRE and GMAT, 2194 and for MAT, 1615.

  6. TOEFL: (international students only) Applicants who have not received a degree in the United States are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). An official score report must be sent directly from the Educational Testing Service (ETS). Drexel's test code is 2194.

  7. Résumé: Required for all programs

  8. I-20/DS-2019 and Supporting Financial Documents: (international students only) Please print, complete, and submit the I-20/DS-2019 Application (PDF).

  9. Transcripts: Official transcripts must be sent directly to Drexel from all the colleges/universities that you have attended. Transcripts must be submitted in a sealed envelope directly from the colleges/universities.

    International Student Transcripts: Students applying to the graduate programs in the College of Nursing and Health Professions or the School of Public Health must have their transcripts evaluated by an approved agency.

Note: All documents that you submit, or are submitted on your behalf, in support of this application for admission to Drexel University become the property of the University, and will under no circumstances be released to you or any other party.
