Student Ambassadors

The Drexel University Student Ambassador program is a group of student leaders with a commitment to helping the Drexel community grow. Ambassadors draw on their personal Drexel experiences to highlight the opportunities and benefits of a Drexel education. On and off campus, ambassadors are the face of Drexel.

Our History

Established to provide the University with a prestigious group of volunteer students who have the skills and training necessary to help conduct special University functions and represent the University at events on and off campus, the Drexel Student Ambassador program accomplished its original goals and now also assists with visits to campus by international dignitaries, VIPs, school groups, and other organizations.

Why Join?

The Drexel Student Ambassador program is the University's most prestigious volunteer organization. Because ambassadors act as representatives to prospective students and their families as well as other important visitors, membership is selective. More than a requirement, ambassadors are naturally friendly, committed, and enthusiastic about sharing their Drexel stories and experiences. Beyond the satisfaction they gain by making guests to the University feel welcome, ambassadors develop interpersonal skills and become more experienced public speakers. Becoming a Drexel Student Ambassador enhances a résumé through demonstration of leadership and responsibility. Perhaps most important, ambassadors create meaningful and lasting friendships with fellow ambassadors through trainings, events, and ambassador-only social events.
