The four-week program is a comprehensive curriculum designed to prepare international teaching assistants (ITAs) for their responsibilities at Drexel University. The curriculum addresses language, appropriate pedagogy, and the culture of the American classroom through interactive lectures, classroom activities, undergraduate student speakers, and classroom visits. The program is taught by dynamic, experienced faculty who are experts in the field of ITA preparation.

Housing, health insurance, and tuition will be paid by Drexel University. A stipend will be allotted for each participant's food and incidental expenses.

This information is sent for planning purposes so that prospective teaching assistants can arrange their schedules to arrive at Drexel in time to begin this program on August 7.

More information about the program will be sent directly to those receiving teaching assistantships.
