Communication Skills for Healthcare Professionals
Designed to help medical professionals develop and refine interpersonal communication skills in the workplace and in social interactions. Participants will work on clarification strategies and cross-comprehension checks as well as on improved intelligibility to help communicate more effectively. This course will also help prepare participants for the USMLE Step 2.

The ELC is a certified test site for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). Medical professionals needing to satisfy the USMLE English proficiency requirement may view our IELTS page for more information or to schedule a test date. Test preparation courses for small groups may also be arranged.
TOEFL iBT
The ELC offers TOEFL iBT preparation courses throughout the academic year. More information for medical professionals needing to satisfy the USMLE English proficiency requirement.
