The six-week program for high school English language teachers from Brazil will focus on the components of language teaching pedagogy, interactive speaking and listening skills, and an introduction to U.S. culture and society. The program will be held on the Drexel University campus in the vibrant, historic city of Philadelphia and will include a robust experiential component to support the academic program.

You will be met at the airport by either the program coordinator or the associate director. They will be holding a sign that says “English Teachers from Brazil /DREXEL UNIVERSITY” on it.
Housing: You will be living in the Philadelphia International House, with individual rooms arranged in suites.
Food: You will eat at the Drexel Dining hall which has vegetarian options and you will also have some dining dollars to eat at local restaurants.
Books: All books and materials needed for the program will be provided by the English Language Center.
ID Cards: You will get a Drexel Dragon ID card that will give you access to all Drexel facilities.
