HOUSING INFORMATION

VISA INFORMATION

1. If you are NOT in the U.S., you will need a F-1 (student) visa to study at the Drexel ELC.

To get your visa, you will need an I-20 form from the Drexel ELC.

FINANCIAL CERTIFICATION

To get an I-20 from Drexel ELC, you need to prove that you have enough money to pay for your tuition, fees, insurance, housing, books, meals, and personal expenses for one term. We have estimated these amounts to be $7225 for one full term.

(You will need to show an additional $1800 for your spouse, plus $900 for additional dependent. The spouse of an F-1 visa holder cannot work in the U.S. Please attach a list of each person's name, date of birth, and country of citizenship.)

2. You must provide one of the following documents with this application to prove that you have the necessary funds:

A CURRENT, ORIGINAL statement or letter (not a photocopy) from a bank in the name of the person who will pay your expenses. The document must show an amount equal to at least $7225 and must be dated within 6 months of the program start date.

An ORIGINAL scholarship or grant letter (not a photocopy) from a company or government organization.

We will process your completed application and send you an acceptance letter and I-20 form by express mail. We will also send you instructions for paying your tuition deposit, express mail fee, and housing deposit or placement fee (if applicable). DO NOT send these or any other payments to Drexel ELC.
