The Shoulder by Nutwadee Chintakovid, Gap Won Ro, and Chorong Lim One day in Thailand, there was a couple who was not getting along very well. Tom wanted to dump his girlfriend, Pha, because he had met another girl he wanted to date. So, he tried to separate from Pha. Pha was very sad and cried all day. Because of her sadness, she committed suicide by cutting her wrist. Tom was happy to be free again. He started to date a new girl, Som. One month later, he felt tired and fatigued all the time. He felt that something was on his shoulder. It was really heavy. He wanted to know why his shoulder felt heavy, but he had no idea. When he used the scale at home, he was surprised by his weight. He found out that he had gained about 100 pounds. He couldn’t believe it! After that, he saw a shadow in the mirror and realized that she was on his shoulder. He was very surprised because his ex-girlfriend had already died. She glared at him in the mirror and talked to him very angrily. "Why did you dump me?" She had always followed him since she had died. Finally, he became insane. The Old Castle by Seung Min Han (Alex) and Alexia Zwygart Once upon a time, in a town in Scotland, a strange story happened. It was in Bat-Town, a small place nearby Edinburgh. There were only a grocery store, a post office and a big and very old castle located on the hill of the town. Nobody in the town dared to go near the hill. However one day, a young guy named Alex, who was 17 years old, was walking with his dog next to the castle. He was playing with a ball, and suddenly, the ball went in the castle’s garden. He hesitated to look for his ball, but he saw his dog had followed the ball, so he had to go. When he approached the castle, he heard a very strange noise. It was like a baby’s cry that drove his dog crazy. He wanted to know what this sound was. He knocked on the door….No answer….He turned the knob….He entered the castle….and said "Excuse me, is there anybody here?"… Suddenly, the door closed….the young guy turned his head towards the door…but nobody was there….His heart was pounding…When he turned back, something grabbed him, so he screamed. But he managed to get away….he ran …ran …ran upstairs. When he looked for a place to hide, he found a dark closet… He hid in it. Suddenly he heard someone coming. His heart was pounding…pounding…The door opened. He heard someone who was calling him…"Alex… Alex….Alex…. WAKE UP! WAKE UP! You are late! It is time to go to school!" He realized that he had had a bad dream.
