Philadelphia, one of the most historical cities in the United States, is home to over 1.6 million people. The metropolitan population totals about 5.734 million people. This makes Philadelphia the second largest city on the East Coast and the sixth largest American city (2019). The city is the first and only World Heritage City and was voted one of the top places in the world to visit by Conde Nast in 2021 and by National Geographic in 2020. Philadelphia is an easy city to explore with excellent public transportation and walkable destinations.

As the birthplace of America, Philadelphia offers opportunities for learn, play, and engage in American culture. The city is home to hundreds of neighborhoods, each with its own distinct personality and attractions; and is close to the best the region has to offer, from farmers markets in Lancaster County to snow sports in the Pocono Mountains to the beaches of the New Jersey Shore. It is also conveniently located between New York City and Washington, D.C.
