Adjunct ESL Instructors needed for Summer and Fall 2013

The English Language Center at Drexel University is seeking highly-qualified part time ESL instructors for adjunct positions in the Intensive English program and special programs. 

Minimum Qualifications: 1) Master's degree in TESOL  or closely related field (with evidence of the following provided provided: graduate coursework in linguistics, second-language pedagogy and second-language assessment), 2) superior level of English language proficiency and 3) experience in an Intensive English program.

We are currently seeking undergraduate students eligible for WORK-STUDY financial aid for the following positions:  

Marketing Assistant

Duties are to assist the Marketing Coordinator with such tasks as:

  • Database maintenance
  • Organizing brochures and application materials for mailings to agents and international advising centers
  • Help with the development of PowerPoint presentations and other marketing materials
  • Assist with research projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements include dependability, initiative, computer savvy and attention to detail.

Salary and hours will be determined by available work-study funds.

Web Assistant

Duties are to assist the Marketing Coordinator to maintain and improve the ELC website using the Drexel content management system (Sitecore).  Sitecore training will be provided but basic knowledge of HTML is required and any additional web experience is a plus.

Other requirements include dependability, initiative, creativity, and attention to detail.

Salary and hours will be determined by available work-study funds.
