Mission Statement

The mission of the Drexel University English Language Center is (1) to provide the highest quality English language instruction and support services to ESL learners; (2) to promote the practice and scholarship of English language teaching; and (3) to provide leadership in the areas of intercultural understanding and cooperation.

Drexel ELC is accredited by CEA (Commission on English Language Program Accreditation), recognized by the USDE to accredit English language programs and institutions in the US. This signifies that Drexel ELC has met nationally accepted standards of excellence and assures students and their sponsors that the English language instruction and related services will be of the highest quality.
