Miray S. Pereira is a business leader focused on building the corporate demand management capability globally across DuPont. She manages a team of consultants responsible for development, facilitation and implementation of fundamental demand management systems and capabilities. Ms. Pereira brings more than 30 years of experience with DuPont, most recently with the DuPont Safety & Protection Platform in strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions. Launching over 150 new products per year, the Safety & Protection Platform is a $6 billion growth platform for DuPont with diverse markets in construction, manufacturing, consumer products, government, energy and emergency response markets.
Ms. Pereira has a particular interest in business ethics and has served as an executive judge for Layola Marymount University’s National Intercollegiate Business Ethics Competition. She is also an advocate supporting the development of women and people of color in management, engineering and related sciences through mentoring in the MentorNet program as well as for Women Unlimited.
Ms. Pereira holds a 6 sigma greenbelt certification and was the recipient of the 1991 Beta Gamma Sigma Award from Rutgers University.
