FAIR TIME VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteers need to be of high school age or older, and we ask for a minimum of 3 hrs. DVSF is Tuesday, April 2, Wednesday, April 3 and Thursday, April 4, 2013  at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, 422 Business Center, Oaks, PA  19456

Registration Table: Volunteers are needed to ‘greet’ and register the students. Hand out their folders. Direct students to their assigned space.  This gets very busy as school buses pull up.
Day/date: Tuesday 4/2/13 - help needed anytime between 8am and 8pm.

Information Stations: Students get ‘lost’ in the Convention Center. Volunteers will be stationed on the floor to direct students to where to set up, were the supple table is etc.
Day/date: Tuesday 4/2/13 - help needed anytime between 9am and 8pm.

Supply Table: Hand out supplies, tools, tape etc… for students to use and be sure tools are returned.
Day/date: Tuesday 4/2/13 - help needed anytime between 9am and 9pm.

Display & Safety: After students set up their projects, you check the safety regulations so they are in compliance with the rules. Training will be provided
Day/date: Tuesday 4/2/13 - help needed anytime between 8am and 9pm.

Sell Tee-shirts & hats: DVSF sells tee-shirts & hats at a table.
Day/date: Tue and Wed. 4/2/13 & 4/3/13 - 9AM till 5PM. Thurs. 4/4/13 - 4PM till 6PM

Runner/Office Person: Clerical support, answer phones. And other duties as needed.
Day/date: Tue. Wed. & Thurs. 4/2/13 - 4/4/13 - 9am till 5pm

Program Assistant: Stuff folders, set-up judges registration, stock supply tables and be a runner.
Day/date: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 4/2/13- 4/4/13 -  11:00 AM till 4:00pm

Packers: Help set up the office, etc. and breakdown.
Day/date: Monday 4/1/13 and Friday 4/5/13 - 10AM to 3PM
