Maryland Residents Tuition Refund Policy

For online students residing in Maryland, Drexel University complies with the state of Maryland's Refund Policy. This policy will supersede the general university policy, unless the university's policy is more beneficial for the Maryland student. 

Nursing equipment fees and health insurance are non-refundable charges. The refund is a credit to your student account and may result in adjustments to your financial aid. If a credit balance is created on your student account the credit balance will be refunded to you.

The minimum refund that Drexel University shall pay to a Maryland student who withdrawals or is terminated after completing only a portion of a course, program, or term within the applicable billing period is as follows:

Between 10% and 19% of the term completed 80%
Between 20% and 29% of the term completed 60%
Between 30% and 39% of the term completed 40%
Between 40% and 59% of the term completed 20%
More than 60% of term completed NONE

Please note: A refund due to a Maryland student shall be based on the date of withdrawal or termination and paid within 60 days from the date of withdrawal or termination.
