First year resident students can not change or cancel their meal plan unless they are released from their University Housing room assignment. For all other students, click here for the meal plan cancellation form.
Top 10 things to know about the DragonCard Office
1. To obtain a DragonCard you must present a valid photo driver’s license, passport or state-issued photo ID to the DragonCard representative.
2. There is a $20 replacement fee for lost or damaged DragonCards.
3. Resident Freshmen who had their ID picture taken at Orientation will receive their DragonCard when they move into their residence hall.
4. Commuters who had their ID picture take at Orientation will receive their DragonCards at New Student Day commuter registration. Any commuters that do not attend this can pick-up their DragonCards in the DragonCard Office following NSD.
5. The DragonCard Office will issue DragonCards to students who did not previously have their photo taken. These students must be registered for the term prior to coming to the office.
6. Ultima Funds provide students, faculty, and staff with a convenient and safe way to make purchases using a declining balance of stored funds. There are no fees, minimum balance, or minimum payment requirements for students to participate in the Ultima Fund program. Funds can be added by calling the DragonCard Office with a credit card number, mailing in a check, adding cash at the load station or visiting in person. Ultima funds rollover from term to term until graduation. Any balance at that time will be refunded. For a complete list of Ultima merchants, visit the DragonCard website.
7. The DragonCard Office handles meal plan sign-ups, changes, and cancellations. Any meal plan questions or concerns should be directed to the DragonCard Office
8. All Resident First Year Students living on University City Main Campus are required to be on the Gold Meal Plan: unlimited access to the Handschumacher Dining Center and 200 meal plan dollars.
9. For commuter and upperclassmen students meal plans are optional. Three meal choices are available: the Gold Meal Plan, 9 Meal Plan and 5 Meal Plan.
10. Students can obtain a DragonCard or add Ultima funds at any of the three Dragon

Temporary IDs
For any given term, a student, staff, or faculty member may receive one temporary ID valid for seven days or two temporary IDs valid for one day each. Each temporary ID is given an expiration date, upon which it is no longer valid.
If students are not active and registered for classes they cannot be given a temporary ID.
For anyone needing to get a temporary DragonCard ID, they are available during business hours at each of the DragonCard offices at University City, Center City, and the Queen Lane campus.
