Drexel Doctoral Student Awarded T32 Training Grant from the National Institute on Drug Abuse

Janna Ataiants, MPA, a third year doctoral student in Community Health and Prevention, has received a multi-year predoctoral fellowship funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). Ms. Ataiants will conduct her fellowship at the National Development Research Institutes, Inc., in New York City. This fellowship prepares social scientists for careers in research on drug abuse and HIV/AIDS through intensive training and hands on research. Formally known as the Behavioral Sciences Training in Drug Abuse Research Program, this is a collaboration among Public Health Solutions, National Development and Research Institutes, Inc., NIDA’s Center for Drug Use and HIV Research at NYU, and Columbia University.
