City Council held a public hearing on Monday afternoon to discuss the criminal justice system and the impact of current policies. Sandra Bloom, MD professor in the Department of Health Management and Policy and the co-director for the Center For Nonviolence and Social Justice gave a presentation on how traumatic experiences can affect children and families.
