Certificate in Epidemiology and Biostatistics

The Certificate in Epidemiology and Biostatistics offered though Drexel University Online, is an inter-disciplinary program designed for working professionals coming from diverse backgrounds: public health administrators, physicians, nurses, clinical research professionals, health educators, policy experts and more.

The program provides research-oriented training in the theory and tools of core public health disciplines. Students build the statistical background needed to conduct research and learn how to develop hypotheses, analyze data, interpret and communicate results.

Never before has disease prevention and health promotion been more important. As world events develop, with the added threat of bio-terrorism and other emerging public health issues, those who can apply knowledge gained through research to real-world problems are in great demand across all sectors: healthcare, pharmaceuticals, governmental & non-governmental agencies, business and academia.

This 9-credit (3 course) program is offered in a convenient format for part-time students. You can study online, with no commuting to campus required. Courses are taught in 10-week terms, following Drexel University's academic calendar.
