Priority Seating

Priority seating allows a person who has a disability the ability to sit as close in proximity as reasonably possible, to the focal point of the classroom/event, as a reasonable accommodation due to disability. Students and campus guests are responsible for self-disclosing to the Office of Disability Services (ODS) and requesting accommodations during the interactive process with ODS.  Reasonable accommodations are determined by ODS on a case-by-case basis. For additional information regarding requesting accommodations, go to: Requesting Accommodations.

Students with disabilities who are eligible for priority seating are responsible for meeting the same attendance requirements as any other student, unless there is a documented need and request for a reasonable accommodation.
