Advance Notice for Accommodations

Providing advance notice of student auxiliary aid needs is an important aspect to receiving accommodations in a timely fashion. Drexel University operates on a term (quarter) system, while the Drexel College of Medicine operates on a semester system.  When planning for needs for the fall and subsequent terms/semesters, providing advance notice is essential for the Office of Disability Services to facilitate the provision of accommodation needs. Many colleges in the Philadelphia area begin much earlier than the University (often late August). It is in the student’s best interest to make accommodation requests to the office as soon as possible. For additional information regarding requesting accommodations, go to: Requesting Accommodations.
