A limited number of performance scholarships are available for the choral ensembles. Auditions for these scholarships, which range from $1,250 for first-year recipients to as much as $2,500 for experienced members of the Chorus, take place in March and April for the following year. We prefer to hear these auditions during the April "Accepted Students Days," which are April 14 and 15 (2012), and April 21 and 22, but can accomodate a limited number during the March "Accepted Student Days," on March 10 and 11. If this is not possible, individual audition times can usually be arranged on campus, with April 24 (2012) as the cut-off date to audition for a performance scholarship for the 2012-13 academic year. You do not need to be a music major to be eligible for a performance scholarship and the majority of recipients are non-majors.
