More about the Chamber Singers

The Chamber Singers is a select group of 18 singers, chosen by audition from the University Chorus.

The Chamber Singers performs, primarily, secular music from the Renaissance (Madrigals, Chansons, Partsongs). The group performs on the Chorus concert in the Fall and Spring, and does a pair of costumed, scripted, Madrigal Dinners in the Winter.

The Chamber Singers rehearses once a week, on Tuesday evenings from 6:00-8:00 in the Main Auditorium.

Auditions for the Chamber Singers take place the first week of the fall term. The sign-up sheet is available at the first Chorus rehearsal. The audition consists of singing a prepared solo* and sight reading.
