New for 2008

1. CINTAX – The tax preparation program geared toward the international student or scholar who is a nonresident alien for U.S. tax purposes.

2. If you are an International student or scholar with a record in Glacier, you should have received an e-mail by now advising you that CINTAX is available for you to prepare your Form 1040NR or 1040NR-EZ.

3. How Do You Log Into CINTAX Through GLACIER?

- Simply log into GLACIER at http://www.online-tax.net and enter your GLACIER InstitutionID, Password and UserID;
- Click on "I Accept" on the User Agreement page;
- Continue until you see the GLACIER activities menu ("What Would You like to Do Today?), select "I am ready to complete my tax return";
- GLACIER will ask you to verify important information before you continue to CINTAX. Once you verify that all information in GLACIER is correct or you update any incorrect information, you will see the "Welcome to CINTAX" screen.

4. If you do not have a record in Glacier, you must contact the Office of Tax Compliance to request an access code for the CINTAX program. Simply e-mail the taxoffice@drexel.edu with your name, campus address and student/employee identification number and we will e-mail an access code and instructions to you. The use of CINTAX is restricted to students and employees of Drexel University.
