Objective
The Master's of Science program in Arts Administration
is designed to provide academic preparation for management positions
with non-profit organizations, foundations, corporations, and government
agencies involved in the visual and performing arts.

Greetings Prospective Student,
Thank you for inquiring about the graduate Arts Administration Program
at Drexel University. Choosing to extend your education with a graduate
degree is a difficult decision, but one that will undoubtedly further

Our program prepares students as arts managers and leaders in the
field by focusing on areas such as Marketing, Technology and Policy
Development for the Arts taught by our experienced and dedicated faculty.

method is theory-based and application-oriented, and at Drexel you
will benefit from both scholarship and practical experience. Graduates
of the program are employed in senior management positions in all
arts disciplines around the world.
We work closely with the local and national arts community in research
and consulting opportunities, and are proud members of the Association
for Arts Administration Educators and Americans for the Arts. We also
administer multiple grants that provide benefits to the Philadelphia
cultural community in theatre, dance, and leadership management.
Being located in a major metropolitan area provides great learning
opportunities and appeals to a diverse national and international
student population. The city of Philadelphia houses over 300 arts
and cultural organizations, and is conveniently located between New
York City and Washington, D.C.
