Drexel University has re-evaluated its partnerships with regional community colleges, and, as a result, is phasing out most of its on-site programs at Delaware County Community College. Instead, Drexel will focus its efforts on increasing transfer access for community college students to its Philadelphia campuses.

Affected undergraduate programs include Business Administration, Computing and Security Technology, Health Sciences, and Health Services Administration. The Joint Degree in nursing (ASN to BSN) will temporarily suspend admitting new students, and both Drexel University and Delaware County Community College will make an announcement regarding resumption of the program for new students.

For Drexel at Delaware County Community College Current Students

Currently enrolled Drexel at Delaware County students will have several options for completing their bachelor's degrees. A member of Drexel's professional staff at Delaware County Community College will be in touch with each student to discuss those options. Regardless of the options available, there will be no change to the tuition structure.

For Prospective Students

Drexel will no longer be admitting new students into most of its on-site degree programs at Delaware County Community College.

For students who may have anticipated transferring into Drexel's on-site programs at Delaware County Community College, we encourage you to meet with the transfer advisor at your current institution to discuss the process of transferring to Drexel's Philadelphia campuses.

Drexel University is committed to strengthening pathways and opportunities for Delaware County Community College and other community college graduates to transfer seamlessly to Drexel to complete their bachelor's degrees online or at the University's Philadelphia campuses.
