Faculty Academic Portfolio Workshops
Portfolios are evidence-based documents that allow faculty members go beyond their vita and highlight the most important aspects of their professional accomplishments, and contain both formative and summative aspects.
Although several types of faculty portfolios exist, the Academic Portfolio format is most commonly used on Drexel’s campuses. Academic portfolios provide an opportunity to highlight key components of teaching, research, scholarship and service in a cohesive manner while providing an opportunity for reflection on past accomplishments with an eye towards future professional goals.
In order to meet the increased demand for guidance in the creation of faculty portfolios, DCAE offers academic portfolio construction workshops twice a year. Please see the yearly workshop schedule for specific dates and application procedures.
