University Housing Redefined: Drexel 2-Year Residency Program
2-Year Residency Program for Second Year (Sophomore) Students
Second Year (Sophomore) students may live in a Drexel Residence Hall, Drexel fraternity or sorority house (invitation from the organization required), University-Affiliated Housing or a University-Approved Property.
Second Year (Sophomore) Students whose permanent address is approximately within a 10-mile radius and who will reside with a family member or legal guardian and commute to Drexel University must log into MyHousing via DrexelOne, click on "Housing OnDemand" and utilize the forms for Extenuating Circumstances, citing "Other" as the reason unless a Medical or Financial reasoning is applicable.
Students who will be on co-op outside of a 10-mile radius of the University City Campus must inform University Housing by registering their housing location in MyHousing.
Second Year (Sophomore) Location Registration
Once a signed lease/contract has been executed to live in a University Residence Hall, University-Affiliated Property or University-Approved Property, Rising Second Year (sophomores) students are required to complete their location registration. Second Year (Rising Sophomores) can complete their housing location registration for the 2014-15 academic year by completing the 2nd Year Housing Location Registration form through the MyHousing portal via DrexelOne starting February 2, 2015, but no later than August 1, 2015.
Second Year (Sophomore) Student Extenuating Circumstances
Rising Sophomore Students who feel they are unable to fulfill the requirements of the Drexel University 2-Year Residency Program may request a review of their specific situation, citing either a Medical or Financial reason. To do so, students may log into MyHousing and then click on “Housing OnDemand.” Forms associated with the 2-Year Residency Program are located in the left-hand navigation.
Second Year Students who will be on co-op outside of a 10-mile radius of the University City Campus must inform University Housing by registering their housing location in MyHousing by registering in the Winter 2015 term.
Drexel University Housing assesses housing charges in accordance with the Drexel University Quarterly Bill. For more information on Drexel University payment deadlines and payment options, please visit the Drexel Central website's Billing section. University-Affiliated Housing and University-Approved Property payments are made directly to the property manager/owner by the student in accordance with the terms of the lease agreement.
