Housing Application process for 2012-2013 - Steps to complete
Applications submitted after January 31, 2012 will automatically be placed on the Returning Student Wait List for Fall 2012. Vist the Wait List page for more information.
1. Review the Individual Housing Agreement and the housing options available
2. Submit a $200 Housing Deposit via the Student eBill.
Once logged into your eBill, select "Deposits" from the top menu bar and select "Fall Quarter 2012" and then "Housing Deposit" from the second drop down menu. Continue to follow the provided instructions. Note that only "Fall Quarter 2012" will process.
The housing deposit may also be submitted in person with a check, cash, or money order at the Cashier's window in the Office of Student Accounts located on the first floor of the Main Building or via USPS. Checks should be payable to Drexel University and include the words "housing deposit" and student ID in the Memo line. Housing deposits must be processed by the Housing Deposit Deadline in order to be considered valid. Please allow two business days for processing! The mailing address is:

3. Apply for Housing online via MyHousing
Logon to MyHousing via DrexelOne Click the student's tab in DrexelOne
In the Housing section, click MyHousing.
Select the housing application labeled: "Undergraduate 2012-2013: Fall to Spring"
4. Optional: Select your preferred roommate.
5. Once you complete your application, you will receive an email confirmation to your Drexel email account.
Your application is not complete without this confirmation e-mail!
6. Communicate with your preferred roommate.
You must re-log back into MyHousing to confirm them as your preferred roommate (likewise, they must do the same).
7. University Housing will send out information about the Self-Selection process.
8. Optional: Select your own room during Room Self-Selection Period, if eligible

Once logged into MyHousing, click on "Application" and select the correct year. For Fall 2012, Winter 2013, Spring 2013 (or any comboination of those academic terms), select "Undergraduate 2012-2013- - Fall to Spring". Students applying for 34th Street Greek Housing should select the appropriate academic term. Read more information on Greek applications
Section 1. Introduction:
Read information provided by University Housing regarding the 2012-2013 academic year.
Section 2. Living Style
Complete a short survey which will be available to potential roommates, or will be used if University Housing assigns the student.
Section 3. Term Selection:
Select the academic terms for which you plan to live on campus. Read about cancellations here.
Section 4. Preferred Roommate Selection:
Select any preferred roommates by searching for a specific person or searching based on the Roommate Survey. This page will also list anyone who has requested you as a roommate. You must accept a preferred roommate if you chose them. Likewise, they must chose you! On this page, you can also create a roommate profile which will be searchable by other students. In your online profile, which you can create and customize, you should list any special interests or For Students By Students groups you wish to associate in the Description box so that others can find you based on your criteria!
Section 5: Housing Preferences:
On this page, you will see all available housing options, including room types. You will also select your top four choices for housing placement, which will be used if you opt to not participate in the Self-Selection option, or if you are not eligible to do so.
Section 6 Single Room Buyout Information:
From time to time, single rooms may become available. If you chose to be contacted if a single room is available, indicate your preference here. It is unlikely that single rooms will be available for Fall 2012.
Section 7 Contact Information:
University Housing requires all students to have a local Emergency Contact on file. Use this page to provide that information. Note, on this page, information from your DrexelOne account is also provided, but can not be updated. To update your permanent address or your official Emergency Contact, log into DrexelOne.
Section 8. Special Services or Accommodations:
Indicate if you plan to contact the Office of Disability Services with regards to special accommodations for the 2012-2013 academic year. It is the student's responsibility for contacting Office of Disability Services; University Housing or Office of Disability Services will NOT automatically contact a student based on the information presented on this screen.
Section 9 Meal Plan Selection (Optional):
Returning students can select a Meal Plan for the 2012-2013
Section 10 Online contract:
Electronically sign the Individual Housing Agreement. Information for Students under the Age of 18.
Section 11 Confirmation:
See a summary of the Housing Application here and press SUBMIT. Note: The MyHousing system is NOT real-time information with regards to Housing Deposits.
